Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell is an American chef television personality as well as a former teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts her own Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. With her trademark spiky blond hair and bubbly appearance, Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of dining out, and provides concise easy-to-master techniques to the home cook in her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell has also worked at some of the top restaurants located in New York, studied the cuisine and culture of Italy and competed on the Food Network's Iron Chef America. As a child in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell was able to discover a love of cooking and food from very young. The Culinary Institute of America was the next stop for her following graduation with A Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication in the fall of 2004 from Canisius College Buffalo NY. I was awed by every minute of being a student at The Culinary Institute of America she states. It was hard to study how to do, or even work hard enough. After graduation, chef Burrell spent a year in Italy taking classes at Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners during her time at La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. Through her stay in Italy she was able to fully be aware of the history and concept behind Italian cuisine and culture which made a lasting impression on her culinary standpoint. Burrell is a well-known ambassador of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which aids children with obstacles. In her capacity as a speaker, Burrell goes on a tour across the United States to talk about her love of cooking and food, as well as to talk about her profession in culinary. Through her culinary adventures, Anne has always said I feel blessed to be able be able to share the passion I have within my life with other people.

Suzanne Pleshette

   Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on January 19 in 2008. She was an American voice actress, actress film, and TV actress. Pleshette started her theatre career and appeared in films in the late 1950s. Later, Pleshette was a prominent actor in movies such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (12001).
