Mary-Louise Parker

 Mary-Louise Parker was born August 2 on the 2nd of August, 1964. She is an American actress. After her Broadway debut in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss (1990) that she was nominated for a Tony Award, Parker rose to fame for parts in films like Grand Canyon (1991), Fried Green Tomatoes (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), A Place for Annie (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway (94), Bullets over Broadway ( 1994), A Place for Annie (94), Boys on the Side (1996), The Portrait of a Lady (1996) and The Portrait of a Lady (1996) and The Maker (1997). Alongside stage and independent films performances thereafter, Parker received the 2001 Tony Award for Best Actress in an Play for her performance in Catherine Llewellyn in David Auburn's Proof as well as other awards. She was a part of Amy Gardner on NBC's television series The West Wing from 2001 to in 2006. The role she played was so successful that she received a nomination in 2002 for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress In the Drama Series. She won a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award for her portrayal of Harper Pitt in the acclaimed HBO television miniseries Angels in America in 2003.Parker continued to have huge success as Nancy Botwin, the lead character in the popular television show Weeds that ran from 2005 to 2012, and for which she was nominated for three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series between 2007 and 2009. She also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy in 2006.Her subsequent film appearances include roles in The Spiderwick Chronicles (2008), Red (2010), R.I.P.D. (2013) as well as Red 2 (2012). Parker was back on Broadway in 2019 , to appear in The Sound Inside, for which she received her second Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Since 2007, Parker has contributed articles to Esquire magazine and published her memoir, Dear Mr. You, in 2015. She was the lead in Roma Guy in the ABC TV miniseries "When We Rise" in 2017. In 2018, she was on the show as a political consultant in the show Billions on Showtime.

   Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on January 19 in 2008. She was an American voice actress, actress film, and TV actress. Pleshette started her theatre career and appeared in films in the late 1950s.
